Be Joyful

I had fun making this card today with Our Daily Bread Designs stamps, dies and paper! I am so loving the new paper collection - Rustic Beauty - it is gorgeous! Here is my card:

Elizabeth Whisson, handmade card, Our Daily Bread Designs, ODBD, ODBDDT, To God be the glory, Be Joyful, Glory, ODBD Vintage Labels Dies, ODBD Vintage Flourish Pattern Dies, ODBD Fancy Foliage Dies, ODBD Rustic Beauty Paper Collection, copics

I have stamped the main flower image from the Our Daily Bread Designs Be Joyful set with Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-Press It blending card and coloured it with Copic markers. It is then diecut with the new ODBD Vintage Labels Dies and inked with Distress Ink Victorian Velvet. I have stamped the same image again onto another piece of blending card and coloured just three of the flowers with Copic markers then fussy cut them and popped them up on foam tape over the original image.

The sentiment is the from the Our Daily Bread Designs Glory set (new in the May release) and diecut with ODBD Vintage Flourish Pattern Dies. The leaves are from the ODBD Fancy Foliage Dies - for these I have used a piece from the Rustic Beauty Collection

The gorgeous background DP is also from the ODBD Rustic Beauty Paper Collection. I have used a white ribbon and coloured it with RV95 Copic marker to match the flowers and paper.

I also stamped the small image from the same ODBD Be Joyful set on the inside of my card.

Next week I will be starting a 6 week night course with Trinity Theological College on The Book of Psalms - Prayer, Praise and Jesus! This will be the 5th unit I've done with Trinity Theological College and I am really looking forward to delving into the Book of Psalms! For each unit you have a choice to write an assignment after the course has finished (there are usually a few different questions to choose from). I have completed the assignments for the other units and am looking forward to researching for this one too. You learn so much in the units but I find researching for and writing the assignments helps me to "dig a bit deeper" and "cement" what I learnt in the course into my brain! I look forward to being able to share some of what I learn in the course with you all :-)
To God be the Glory!
