ODBDSLC202 F-L-O-W-E-R

The challenge this week at Our Daily Bread Designs is a recipe challenge! ODBDSLC202 is to use four letters from the word F-L-O-W-E-R to create your card. Eg. Feathers, Oval, Embossing and Red.

For my card I have used F-Flowers, L-Layers, E-Embellishments (pearls) and R-Ribbon.

Elizabeth Whisson, Our Daily Bread Designs, Gloy, ODBD Blooming Garden Paper Collection, ODBD Christian Faith Paper Collection, morning glory, Lamentations 3:23,

I have stamped the Morning Glory (from Our Daily Bread Designs Glory - new release in May!) with black ink onto X-Press It blending card and coloured with Copics. I diecut the shape and then added the verse (from the same set - Glory). I've then diecut the same square shape from ODBD Blooming Garden Paper Collection to use as a border for my flowers and backed both of these onto purple cardstock. The other DP layers are from ODBD Blooming Garden Paper Collection and ODBD Christian Faith Paper Collection (both backed with cardstock). I've then added embellishments (pearls) and ribbon on the left side.

I've also used some AtYou Spica glitter pens to add some sparkle to the morning glory, leaves and verse.

I am entering this card in the Word Art Wednesday #131 Anything Goes challenge.
