The PowerPoppy Blog has some challenges on at the moment! One of them is the Unabashedly Upbeat Challenge. You must use one of the new PowerPoppy digi stamps (which are all gorgeous!). Here is my card:
And this is the inspiration:
For my card I was inspired by the colours in the picture. I printed the PowerPoppy Digi Peonies image onto X-Press It blending card and coloured with Copics. The background is done with watercolour pencils using the "paint palette" technique that I explain in this post. The sentiment is from the same PowerPoppy Digi Peonies set and also printed onto X-Press It blending card. I have used Bazzill textured cardstock as backing for my image and sentiment and also for the card base. All edges have been inked using Distress Ink Peacock Feathers. Lastly I've added three pearls to the lower right corner.
Copics used: V20, V22, V25, V28, W5, YG61, YG63, YG67, W1 and W3.
Watercolour pencils used: Faber Castell Art Grip Aquarelle numbers 143, 153 and 141.
You can see some of my other cards using the other PowerPoppy digi images here:
Tulips, Gerbera Daisies and Gladioli.
I am also entering this card in the following challenges:
