My daughter turned 5!

My eldest daughter has just turned 5 and she loves anything princess / fairy / unicorns etc... :-) I made her this card using one of the gorgeous fairy's from Whimsy Stamps. It was so precious to see her face when she opened it :-)






This is the second card that I have made using the marbleised background technique taught by Marie Gamber in her Creative Backgrounds class at Color Me Creative Classroom. I think maybe my first attempt (see it here) worked a little better? I think the yellow that I used in the background (especially the part in the front of the fairy (the highlight side)) of this one didn't quite "marbleise" with the other colours as much as I would've liked. But I still like the overall look :-)
