The challenge this week at Our Daily Bread Designs is a colour challenge, ODBDSLC233.
Here is my card:
And here is the colour palette for you to choose your colours from:
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter celebrating what our wonderful Saviour has done for us! Our family went camping on the beach and we had beautiful sunny weather throughout most of the weekend. We had some lovely bush/beach walks and did some fishing (unfortunately the fish weren't biting our lines)! Our girls look forward to their Easter Egg hunt each year - and had fun finding the eggs amongst the sanddune plants this year. We also watched a video (several times) that I had found earlier online which tells the true Easter Story quite well (and it appealed to our girls because it's all done with lego). You can view it here. It's back to work today and the rain has started! (I think it's perfect timing - unless you work outdoors!)
For my card I have stamped the verse from Our Daily Bread Designs April Showers onto cardstock and diecut using one of the gorgeous ODBD Layered Lacey Squares dies. The umbrella is diecut using ODBD Umbrellas. The clouds are diecut using ODBD Clouds and Raindrops dies. The little raindrops come with both the Umbrellas and Clouds and Raindrops dies. I've added some glossy accents on my raindrops to give them a little dimension.
Most layers have been inked with Distress Ink Peacock Feathers or Seedless Preserves.
All of the Our Daily Bread Designs stamps and dies I have used on my card are new in the April 2015 release! Check them out, and much more, here. You can also view some gorgeous cards made by the ODBD Design Team using the April release here.
