This is my card:
It has a removeable bookmark:
And this was the inspiration:
I was inspired by the flowers in the jar (hence my poppy in the canning jar) and then the colours from the image on the left - loved the creams with bits of blue :-)
I had to do a bit of masking to get the poppy in the jar. I stamped the poppy bud (ODBD Poppy single) hanging down the front of the jar, masked it and then inked and stamped the jar (ODBD Canning Jars) except for the very top part (so it left it "open"). I then masked the "rim" of the jar and stamped the rest of the poppy over the top. I filled in a few "missing bits" with a Copic multiliner (such as the rim of the jar and I extended the poppy's stem). I added the words of the verse to the background of the poppy using a 20% warm grey pencil. The bookmark was then cut out using one of the ODBD Custom Bookmark Dies.
The verse is from ODBD Scripture Collection 11 and it is surrounded by one of the ODBD Fleur de Lis Borders. It is cut out with the Spellbinders Curved Rectangles; however, the die was a little long so I diecut the whole lot first and then made it a little shorter by recutting each end again, separately, with the die.
I made a little pocket for the bookmark to sit in and coloured a cream ribbon and bow with a Copic marker to match the rest of the card.

Another photo of my card:
I love this verse as it is so true (as is all of God's Word!) It's a reminder that even though we may think (or it seems that) God does not care about us or love us, he does! We can have faith in Him that He will always provide for us what is best; and we do not have to worry about our lives, "as to what we will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on" (Matthew 6:25) - God will always be there for us, loving us.
