ODBDSLC240 - Fluttering and Flying with ODBD

Here is my card:
Our Daily Bread Designs, Mini Tag Sentiments, Fancy Fritillary, Birds and Nest, Fence, Grass Border, Happy Birthday, Clouds and Raindrops, Mini Tags, Flourished Star Pattern, Designed by Elizabeth Whisson, Copics, handmade card

For my card base I have used Bazill heavyweight marshmallow cardstock. The next layer is the same card but I went around the outside with Copic marker B29 to get the a matching blue colour to my butterfly. The next layer I have diecut using ODBD Flourished Star Pattern Dies. I love this die - I'm not great at hand paper piercing, so I love dies that do it for me!

I've used ODBD Clouds and Raindrops dies to make the clouds and the butterfly is from ODBD Fancy Fritillary dies. I've cut the butterfly twice and coloured the top layer with Copic markers B00, B02, B04, B16 and B29.

The grass and fence are ODBD Grass Border die and ODBD Fence die. The flowers are made using ODBD Birds and Nest dies and the flower stems are the balloon stem from ODBD Happy Birthday dies

Finally the tag is cut using ODBD Mini Tags dies and stamped using Our Daily Bread Designs Mini Tag Sentiments

Most layers have been inked with Distress Ink Walnut Stain.

As you read this we are packing up our last few things before we get a good last nights sleep (I hope!) before we head off to the Northern Territory (about 2600 km away) by 4WD so my husband can compete in the Tatts Finke Desert Race (he's motorbiking). As I look at my card it reminds me of the beautiful world that God has created for us and while we will be heading into the desert, I still find it beautiful. The wide open space and red dirt with the occasional Wedge-Tailed Eagle (you never truly know how huge these birds are until you see one up close!). It's pretty magnificent when you see storms too (but we are camping - so praying for clear skies this time!) We will be away for a few weeks but please check back here every now and then as I've scheduled my blog posts and they will go live (hopefully!) even though I'm not "home".
(I also have a tutorial I'm very excited about coming towards the end of June!)
