ODBDSCL214 - Fall Inspiration (week 2)

We're now into week two of the Fall Inspiration challenge (ODBDSLC214) over at Our Daily Bread Designs. You can see my first project for the challenge (a tag / bookmark) here. This week I've made a card. Here is a photo:

And here are the gorgeous images that you can use for inspiration:

Last week I used the yellow rose in the vase, this week the pumpkin image caught my eye. I just adore the colours and that is what inspired me to create my card - plus I've used sunflowers (which you can see in the picture).

I've stamped the sunflowers (from Our Daily Bread Designs Sunflower single) twice onto X-Press It blending card and diecut both using Our Daily Bread Designs' Sunflowers die. I've then coloured all of the sunflowers with Copic markers.

Copic markers used:
Petals: Y04, Y17, YR15, YR18
Flower centres: E42, E44, E47, E49
Leaves: G43, G46, G99
Bee: Y11 and a tincy bit of Y38, N1 for the wings

I used scissors to separate the sunflower on the left from one of the "bunches". My card base is Bazzill textured and I've used Bo Bunny Autumn DP and it has been inked with Distress Ink Spiced Marmalade.

The fence is ODBD Fence die and is attached to my card by just the base of the fence - making it stand up on an angle over the yellowy/gold ribbon that I added. The bee is from Our Daily Bread Designs Zinnia stamp set and has been stamped onto X-Press It blending card and coloured with Copic markers. I've then diecut the bee using the bee die from ODBD Zinnia and Leaves dies.

For the sentiment I have diecut a tag from ODBD Recipe and Tags dies and then stamped the sentiment, from Our Daily Bread Designs All Occasion Sentiments, onto the die. The sentiment stamp is all in a straight line, however I have inked the word "thinking" and then stamped it on the tag, then cleaned the stamp and inked "of you" and added it to the tag.

I placed the single sunflower (that I detached from one of the groups) onto the front using foam tape. I've also added some chocolate coloured pearls for the bee's "trail".

Here are some more photos:
