For a special friend

One of my work friends has had to take about 10 weeks leave to have some treatment due to a medical condition. She has to spend some time away from her husband and two children during this time as well. She hasn't had an easy life yet she always has a cheery disposition and you can usually hear her laughter throughout the office - it makes me smile :-) I made this card for her just before she left.

I've stamped Little Darling Rubber Stamps - Candibean "Wendy's Bouquet" using Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It blending card and coloured with Copic markers.

Copic colours used:

Hair: E42, E44, E47 and E49

Skin: E00, E21, E11, E04 and blush - R20

Dress: V01, V12, V15 and V17

Bow: R22, R24, R27 and R29

Flowers: Y11, Y15, YR15, Y38, C0 and C3

Greenery: G40, G43 and G46

Cat: N1, N3 and N5

Background: dots of W1, W3, W5, G40, V01, Y00 and E42

I've cut around the image, inked around the edge with Distress Ink Dusty Concord and backed it with Bazzill textured cardstock. The gorgeous little ticket is a stamp and diecut from Whimsy Stamps - Friendship Ticket Sentiments and coordinating Ticket Die.

The DP is from Basic Grey RSVP, the lace is Green Tara and the flowers are all from Live and Love Crafts. I've added a couple of AnnaBelle Stamps sprinkles (3 mm Plum or Lilac (can't quite remember which one I used) around the card and added a little glossy accents to the Copic coloured flowers and bow. I've also added two little charms - one is "made just for you" and the other is a butterfly.
